Festive Tribute

Virginia Symphony Orchestra bring you a Christmas concert with real soul, as they welcome Dr. conductor Henry Panion III and gospel choir leader Minister Earl Bynum, both leading the orchestra and a community gospel choir through a special festive performance at Chrysler Hall! Paying tribute to gospel royalty Richard Smallwood, enjoy a holiday season special like no other. 

Henry Panion III has been at the helm of many renowned orchestras around the world in his role as conductor and arranger for such legendary artists as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Lionel Ritchie, bringing a wealth of talent and experience to the orchestra. Minister Earl Bynum is the leader of the award winning Mount Unity Choir and has previously directed and composed for the Virginia Mass Choir.
